Wood auctions are conducted according to the Regulation on the valorization of wood from the publicly owned forest fund, provided for in GD no. 715/2017 with subsequent amendments and updates.

With over 70 years of experience in the production of ornamental dendrological material, "Marin Drăcea" National Institute for Research and Development in Forestry is one of the Romanian institutions with the most important contributions to the development of native ornamental arboriculture.

The network of arboretums managed by "Marin Drăcea" National Institute for Research and Development in Forestry includes the largest collection of woody, arborescent and shrubby plants in Romania, cultivated in four regions and different seasonal conditions.
